PROBLEM
According to World Health Organization statistics, there are a staggering 1.35 million annual road deaths globally. It is however just the tip of the iceberg. WHO analysts calculate that 20 to 50 million serious injuries are sustained in crashes around the world every year. 
Europe is one of the leading regions when it comes to road safety. According to Eurostat data, The total number of people who died in road accidents in the EU in 2019 was 22 756, of which 44% were passenger car occupants, 20% pedestrians, 16% on motorcycles, 9% on bicycles and 11% in other categories (including light and heavy goods vehicles, buses and coaches, mopeds and other vehicles).

Governments around the world are initiating rules and regulations to enhance road safety and reduce road accidents. It is however not enough, so road operators are seeking tech solutions that can help improve road safety and achieve the Vision Zero goal.

OUR SOLUTION
Noticero is a smart road detection system that utilizes network-connected, sensor-heavy, smart radar device to optimize traffic and increase road safety.
Radar technology allows for recognition of upcoming cars, motorbikes, bikes, pedestrians and other vehicles regardless of weather conditions, time of a day or traffic. This data is then used to warn other road users about upcoming danger and trigger number of scenarios based on IFTT protocols (if this then that).
Thanks to the implementation of additional sensors and its machine learning capabilities, Noticero will also collect and analyze real-time traffic data, noise, lights, and air pollution on behalf of cities and road operators.
