Knopka

Knopka is an advanced call system for hospitals and care homes. It ensures that medical staff arrives at a patient's bed within 3 minutes.

Knopka as an idea started in 2020 when we experienced firsthand how it is hard to get help in a hospital when you’re suffering from pain and cannot ask for assistance.

We searched for a solution that would guarantee safety when you stay in a hospital bed. And all that we found were extremely hard to implement or unsuitable for hospitals, like a waiter call system.

So we decided to make our product - affordable, scalable, and easy to use.

Since the first MVP field tests, we got 100% positive feedback from the medical staff and the patients. It gave us confidence that we were moving in the right direction and doing the good thing for healthcare.

Knopka notifies nurses and helps them respond immediately:

  • when a patient has an abnormal heart rate

  • when required by the treatment plan

  • when a patient makes a call

Because of timely assistance, patients feel safer and get discharged quicker. With the help of knopka, hospitals save money and improve bed turnover rate. Now over 1500 hospital beds are equipped with Knopka and the number is growing.

Knopka has a subscription-based model and doesn't require capital investments. Also, it doesn’t require rebuilding the medical facility to get installed because it's fully wireless and autonomous. So, the hospital can implement advanced safety solutuion in one day. Now we're focused on our second version of the product. It is technically improved and will be available for installment starting from October 2022.
