ARTNOSE

The significant trend in healthcare is the shift from sickness care to wellness care. In other words, changes in health management from yearly health checks to continuous monitoring. The modern approach is to catch diseases even before symptoms occur, and single data points during in-office visits are not sufficient anymore.

In particular, urology telemedicine is now widely adopted by 59% (or approx. 6000) of EU urologists. In Poland, studies demonstrated that 80%+ patients chose urology teleconsultation over traditional visits. There are 10,000 urologists in the EU and approximately 1,300 in Poland. In particular, the "density of urologists" in Poland is one of the lowest in Europe, and that is one of the reasons why urology telehealth is growing so rapidly. There are simply not enough professionals to cover the needs, especially in rural/remote areas. But the technologies haven’t progressed for many years. Based on reports, there is a huge lack of innovations for successful practice. In the urology domain, there are no analogies to blood pressure devices, thermometers, or sugar level analyzers.

The aim of Artnose product is to tackle this challenge and improve the quality of life of 1 billion men globally (34M in Europe and more than 6.7M in Poland) above 50 y.o. actively managing benign prostatic hyperplasia and overactive bladder.

Our product is an intuitive plug&play solution. A user receives a device and simply clips it to the toilet bowl. From that moment on, seamlessly integrated into users’ life and normal routine habits, our platform automatically performs health screening checks for multiple urology diseases by monitoring lower urinary tract symptoms.

It is super innovative and allows passive screening. ML-based technologies rapidly process data and can provide reports to authorized doctors. No human initiation during sampling. No consumables. Now maintenance. Low cost and thus could be widely distributed.

Our competitors lack this. They are paper or app-based diaries, toilet superstructures, manual gadgets, and in-office uroflowmetry machines. They are all inconvenient, unreliable, difficult to clean, and stressful. They require a meticulous approach for users, and as a result, they are not solving the problem.
