AIDI SOLAR POLSKA - OFFERS DRONE INSPECTION OF PHOTOVOLTAIC INSTALLATIONS
AIDI SOLAR, with the help of analytical software developed by prominent Ukrainian mathematicians and IT specialists, has already inspected 360 MW of installations since 2019, which has resulted in annual energy savings of 5 254 203 kWh and has allowed the replacement of 15 429 defective photovoltaic panels in UKRAINE.
We are currently in the process of introducing our software in Poland as AIDI SOLAR POLSKA and we offer our customers a state-of-the-art inspection service, thermal imaging surveys of photovoltaic panels and installations by drone, i.e. a thermal imaging survey using unique software based on an advanced mathematical algorithm of artificial intelligence AI on the basis of which we are able to safely and quickly find the cause of the reduction in energy production efficiency of a given photovoltaic installation.
Comprehensive drone inspection of photovoltaic installations by AIDI SOLAR POLAND allows a report to be generated that includes the most frequently detected defects at the level of:

diodes - concerning the detection of failures of the diodes themselves;

cells - locating micro-cracks, holes, as well as connector failures;

hotspots - detection of hot spots with increased resistance where excessive temperatures are generated, which can lead to holes burning in the back layer of the film, and consequently even to a fire. The cause of hotspots is often microcracks and partial shading;

polarity reversal - finding reverse currents, such when current flows in the direction from the efficient strings to the faulty one, instead of flowing to the PV converter and delivering power to the AC grid;

dirt - detecting dirt such as mud, dust, dust, bird droppings that cause shading;

shading - locating permanent or periodic shading spots and hotspots causing a decrease in the energy yield of the PV installation;

vegetation - determining the highest solar energy potential in the operation of the panels, taking into account the influence of plants (including needles and leaves);
Inspection by drone takes place in a single flight, using analytical software enabling almost instant, highly-precise algorithmic diagnostics, saving costs. Not only is the time reduced from a few hours to a few tens of minutes, but everything is fully automated - the drone's take-off, flight along the designated route and its landing is automatic.
Each malfunction is identified to a row, module and assigned a detection history and a customised report, created for the efficient management of the installation, speeds up diagnostics and allows precise servicing to reduce losses associated with plant malfunctions, lost production and, consequently, revenue.
All the collected and processed information is immediately displayed in the report interface, also as a thermal map, so that all the key parameters of the condition of the monitored installation can be easily viewed and read comprehensively. The analysis of the collected report data has a significant impact on the smooth operation of the entire plant and directly influences the level of investment income achieved.
In our opinion, this is one of the best tools of its kind on the European market. It allows a very high accuracy of detecting various errors, after the elimination of which the efficiency of the PV installation increases to nominal values and allows for additional power yields.
The validity of the inspection of a photovoltaic installation demonstrates its cost-effectiveness, safety, accuracy, reliability and top performance, and is the key to its management and profitability.
